Founder’s Message

The story of Mr. Dilip Kagathara begins in Depaliya, near Rajkot, Gujarat, where he was born in 1967. Driven by ambition and strong determination, he moved to Rajkot in 1988 with a clear goal to carve his own path through hard work and integrity.

His entrepreneurial journey began with a small venture, Rupkali Novelty. This phase taught him the true essence of business understanding people, building trust, and delivering consistent value. By traveling extensively across villages and local markets, he gained deep, hands-on experience in sales and marketing, which laid a strong foundation for his entrepreneurial mindset.

While he achieved early success, his vision always extended beyond short-term growth. He aspired to create something meaningful an enterprise that would positively impact society and contribute to the well-being of people. This vision led him to the nonwoven industry, which he strongly believed had the potential to serve essential needs across healthcare, hygiene, and daily life.

Guided by ethics, responsibility, and long-term thinking, Mr. Dilip Kagathara entered the nonwoven manufacturing sector in 2007. With perseverance, dedication, and continuous learning, the foundation of the business grew stronger over time. In 2015, his elder son, Mr. Jay D. Kagathara, joined the journey, and together they founded Spunweb.

Today, Spunweb Nonwoven Ltd. stands as a reflection of Mr. Dilip Kagathara’s journey rooted in strong values, driven by vision, and committed to improving lives through quality, responsibility, and innovation.
