Our Journey From Beginning To Present

Spunweb's journey reflects steady growth, strong vision, and a commitment to excellence in nonwoven manufacturing. From our early foundation to becoming a trusted name across global markets, we continue to innovate and expand capabilities.

2015

Spunweb Nonwoven Private Limited was incorporated on August 6, 2015, starting an important journey in the nonwoven fabric industry.

2016

Our first production line, the 3.2 SS Line with an online hydrophilic system, has been installed and commissioned. This marks a significant milestone as it introduces the twin-pattern roll calender for the first time in India. Spunweb is now ready to take its first step towards providing spunbond nonwoven quality fabric into the market.

2018

Growing demand for quality nonwoven fabric has allowed Spunweb to introduce its second production line, the 1.6 SS Spunbond nonwoven line. This development has further enhanced operational capabilities at Unit 1.

2020

Spunweb established a new facility dedicated to quality production called Spunweb Nonwoven. To meet the needs of customers from different sectors, the company also launched its third production line, the 2.6 SS Spunbond production line.

2021

In July 2021, Spunweb took its first step toward green energy. To reduce our carbon footprint and make a valuable contribution to the environment, we installed a 0.5 MW rooftop solar system. This initiative marks our commitment to sustainable energy.

2022

To meet customers' growing need for quality products, we are installing a fourth production line at Unit 2. This advanced 3.2 SS production line highlights the company’s commitment to continuous innovation.

2023

As demand for hygiene products has been growing due to government initiatives promoting awareness of items like diapers and sanitary pads, Spunweb has expanded its operations. The company has added a new fifth production line at Unit 1, which is equipped with advanced 3.2 SSS technology, an online detection system, and a hydrophilic system, along with a state-of-the-art laboratory.

2024

Spunweb installed new lamination and sheet-cutting machines.
Spunweb added a 0.6 MW rooftop solar system at Unit 1 in February and a 0.435 MW system at Unit 2 in August.
Spunweb Nonwoven Pvt. Ltd. became Spunweb Nonwoven Ltd. in September 2024.
Spunweb Nonwoven was officially recognised as Spunweb India Pvt. Ltd.
On December 30, 2024, Spunweb acquired Spunweb India Pvt. Ltd. into Spunweb Nonwoven Ltd.

2025

On July 21, 2025, Spunweb Nonwoven Limited was officially listed on the NSE platform, becoming the first publicly listed company in India’s nonwoven fabric sector.

2026

With the growing demand for advanced and sustainable packaging solutions across industries, Spunweb has strategically expanded its packaging operations. The company has strengthened its capabilities by installing high-performance S 1.6 and S 3.2 production lines, designed to deliver consistent quality, improved efficiency, and superior output. These advanced machines enable Spunweb to meet diverse packaging requirements while maintaining stringent quality standards and supporting scalable growth.
